Difersa & Primavinia, SA has reached an agreement to acquire Exclusivas Limia, SL, a company based in Cambre and one of the oldest and most profitable distributors in the province of A Coruña. The agreement was finalized last June after several months of negotiations and became effective on September 1st, with Difersa & Primavinia, SA acquiring 100% of the shares.
The agreement includes the transfer of all employment contracts, the acquisition of commercial and delivery vehicles, as well as warehouse machinery and current facilities, thus maintaining the company's complete normality and ensuring the continuity of the service they have been offering to more than 1000 clients.
Difersa & Primavinia is thus launching in one of the most important cities in northern Spain, with a development plan for the coming years that aims to increase its total revenue by more than thirty percent.
The development plan will include expanding the sales and delivery team for more targeted distribution, as well as a robust IT upgrade plan.
With this new acquisition, the distributor will supply the municipalities of A Coruña, Oleiros, Sada, Arteixo, Cambre, Carballo, Ferrol, Bergonzo, and Betanzos, among others, using its own logistics network. This complements its existing distribution network throughout the rest of Galicia.
The current distributor from A Coruña, represents in its catalog wineries such as Terras Gauda (Rias Baixas), Condes de Albarei (Rias Baixas), Joaquin Rebolledo (Valdeorras), Marques de Riscal (La Rioja), Protos (Ribera del Duero), Viña Sastre (Ribera del Duero), Laurent Perrier (Champagne), Campillo (Rioja), Algueira (Ribeira Sacra), Portia (Ribera del Duero) or Pinna Fidelis (Ribera del Duero), among others.
